Hi there, I'm Jessie! (you can call me Jess too 😉)

After nearly a decade working in marketing, I decided to shift my focus, time, and energies to working on a local farm, tending to my own little patch of land, adding my own touches to my 1900 home, and refinishing furniture.

​

My community and the earth are always on my mind in the work I do, and although no one's perfect, I strive to have a net positive impact on my little corner of the world.

​

In my home, I furnish and decorate with repurposed materials as much as possible. I'm also working on several energy efficiency updates.

​

On my land, I'm working on projects to plant trees, repopulate native species, and get rid of my yard in favor of edible perennials and a garden space. And also build a patio just for kicks.

​

In my community, I want my work to bring joy and delicious food to the people I live with. I love working our CSA and farmers markets to spread around good veggies and good vibes. I'm excited to share my abundance from my own garden with my neighbors and members of my community.

In my basement, I refinish furniture (and occasionally do some simple upholstery work as well). I've primarily worked on pieces I've sourced myself, but if you have an old or worn-out piece you'd like to bring back to life, let's talk!

I'm not an expert in any of these areas - I'm here to learn, and share my journey along the way!I just know that I love working with my hands and, in a very tangible way, bringing new things to life.
